Billing & plans
One flat plan per website: what it costs, what's included, and what happens if a subscription lapses.
Three self-serve plans, priced per website. A website covers one verified site — the host you claimed and its www sibling count as a single unit. Every plan has the same features; what a plan sets is the allowance.

Yearly billing saves 17% — about two months free.
Every plan — including Free — has click-to-report capture, all four tracker integrations (GitHub, Linear, Jira, Asana) and Slack notifications, MCP server access for coding agents, and semantic search — uncapped, never metered by credits. Free includes 10 AI triages a month, so the summary, severity and suspected source arrive on your first reports too; past those, Free reports file raw with the capture intact.
Team seats are the people who triage, assign and sync tickets — owners and full team members, pending invites included. Your plan's base price bundles them (3 on Starter, 10 on Pro), and each additional team seat is $12/month, prorated when added and credited when removed. Seats bill monthly whatever your billing period — on a yearly plan they arrive as their own small monthly invoice beside the annual one. Free stays single-player on the working side.
Guests — commenters and viewers — are free on every plan and never occupy a paid seat; commenters file reports and join threads, viewers follow read-only. Free pools them at 3; both paid plans leave guests uncapped — so inviting clients and stakeholders doesn't move the bill.
Reports are uncapped on the paid plans — file as many as your site produces; that number never limits you and never changes the bill. What a paid plan meters is AI triage: 100 a month on Starter, 1,000 on Pro, resetting on the 1st. In practice one report spends one triage, so the allowance is the number of reports that arrive summarised — but they are separate counters, and re-running triage by hand spends a credit without filing anything. When the allowance runs dry, triage fails open: the report still files and still reaches your tracker, just without the AI summary, severity and suspected source. Free is the one plan that caps filing — 50 a month, 10 of them triaged.

Starting out
Every claimed site starts on Free — no card, no time limit. Upgrading picks a plan at checkout (you can switch later); Checkout runs through Stripe, bills from day one, and returns you to your own site with the widget picking up where it left off.
Self-serve billing
- Stripe Checkout to start; the customer portal for card changes and invoices.
- Switch plan or billing interval from the widget's Billing tab — the change is prorated and charged immediately. Team seats never block a switch: seats beyond the new plan's included bundle simply bill as additional seats. Only the commenter/viewer allowance can block a downgrade — trim that roster first (those seats are free on every plan).
- Cancel at period end from the widget, with optional feedback.
- Resume within the grace period and nothing is interrupted.
A just-paid project unlocks instantly — activation is driven by Stripe webhooks, not a timer.
If a subscription lapses
Lapse means back to Free, not cut off:
- The site keeps capturing on the Free plan's allowances; AI triage pauses, seat billing stops, and new team invites need an upgrade — existing teammates stay.
- Your data, pins and team remain exactly where they were.
- Restarting the plan restores the full allowances instantly.
